Rodeway Inn Tuscaloosa near University

I requested a handicap accessible room on the first floor and when I finally arrived @ 11:45pm my room was ready. The bathroom had a pocket door and a fancy lighted mirror. The staff was very pleasant & professional.

Usually wouldn't stay at a low end branded hotel but we got stuck on a work trip with a big event in town and everything else was booked up. So we tried this place and it was quite impressive for what it was. Looks brand new, very clean, no real complaints. If you need an inexpensive place that is decent I would highly recommend!

Great place to stay when visiting Tuscaloosa. Rooms were clean and updated, staff was helpful and the continental breakfast was a nice perk. Know that you will need to go up and down a short flight of stairs if you’re on the 2nd floor (no elevator on site), but not a big deal. Easy to find off the highway and right down the street from a number of stores and restaurants. Terrific value for the price — we’ll definitely be back!

The building is a bit older but it's remodeled, clean and reasonably priced. Drive a little bit away from the interstate and you can find places that are newer and much higher prices if you want. This hits a sweet spot too good to pass.

I stayed at there beautiful property several times- DO NOT LET THE NAME TURN YOU AWAY!!! our entire family stayed here all the rooms have been renovated the hotel is kept and very clean- We are Hilton Honors members- Roadway was highly recommended and I am glad we found this gym. The lobby was tidy and nice- My wife and girls felt safe- The management went over and beyond to put our three rooms close. Thanks again we will see you first week of January... Also we like the Walmart is less than five min away. Thanks for making my family feel right at home,

The best place that I've ever stayed in Tuscaloosa. The staff, especially Chris and Tony are absolutely amazing! You could not ask for better staff members. I have stayed at other places, but these two will keep me coming back. Super nice and very helpful. They went the extra mile for me and I greatly appreciate it. Rooms are reasonable, clean, and comfortable. Breakfast is a very nice addition. Wifi is super fast compared to some of the other places around Tuscaloosa. Highly recommended and will definitely be staying here again.

I had an excellent stay there. The staff are very welcoming especially at the front desk. The experience checking in with Alicia was very pleasant and heart welcoming and checking out with Jay also was very satisfying. The staff takes time to invest in your interest and for that I give a 5 star. What really took my breath away was the cleanliness of the place, everything and everywhere was exceptionally clean and smelled really good. The room was also very clean, smell great, it's like home away from home and very spacious. I truly did not find any fault to the room. The bathroom very clean with modern decor just as advertised in the pictures online. The room was newly renovated which gives it all the points it deserves. This view from my room was beautiful to wake up to, it overlooks beautiful luscious green trees and a view of the pool. The location was very easy to find because it's off the interstate 59 and interstate 20. It's easy access to a lot of attractions and local stores. The atmosphere is very spacious especially in the lobby, breakfast area and hallways. It was very peaceful and quiet. I enjoyed staying there because the environment was really welcoming. Most definitely, I would be staying here again and recommend people to stay here. Another bonus factor is that it is budget friendly and pet friendly. 5 stars for the room and bathroom. Breakfast, was very astonishing, full of varieties and was hot and delicious. The breakfast attendance were very helpful and welcoming, the atmosphere was very clean and smell very good. It was a well organized breakfast. I scored it 5 stars, truly deserve it. All the amenities were available and in good working condition. thanking the staff of the Rodeway Inn in Tuscaloosa Alabama for such a memorable experience of showing what exceptional hospitality should look and feel like.
